FAQs
Do I need to apply serum before using the mask?
For LED sessions, we recommend starting with clean, dry skin unless otherwise stated in your user manual. You can continue with your usual skincare routine after your session.
Can I use LucéLuxe Glacé every day?
Follow the recommended treatment frequency in your user manual. Using the mask for longer or more frequently than recommended does not necessarily provide faster results.
Can I use it with retinol or other active skincare?
Some active ingredients and medications can increase skin sensitivity. Check the instructions for your skincare products and consult a healthcare professional if you use prescription or photosensitizing products.
Why can’t I see the Near-Infrared light?
This is completely normal. 850 nm Near-Infrared light is largely invisible to the human eye, so it may appear very dim or not visible even while operating.
Can I watch TV or use my phone while wearing the mask?
Yes. The hands-free design makes it easy to enjoy your session while relaxing, reading, watching TV or using your phone, as long as you follow the safety instructions.
How do I clean my mask?
Switch off and disconnect the device before cleaning. Gently wipe it according to the cleaning instructions provided in your user manual. Never immerse the device or electrical components in water.
Can I use it after Botox, fillers, microneedling or a facial?
Ask your practitioner when it is appropriate to resume LED use after a professional treatment. Recommended waiting times can vary depending on the procedure and your skin.
What if my skin feels uncomfortable during a session?
Stop the session if you experience unexpected discomfort, burning, significant redness or irritation. Refer to the user manual before using the device again.
Can two people share the same mask?
For hygiene reasons, we recommend keeping LucéLuxe Glacé for personal use. If it is shared, it should be thoroughly cleaned according to the user manual between users.
How should I store my LucéLuxe Glacé?
Keep your mask clean, dry and safely stored when not in use. Avoid excessive heat, moisture and direct sunlight, and do not sharply fold or damage the mask.
Who can use LucéLuxe Glacé?
LucéLuxe Glacé is designed for adult men and women looking to incorporate LED light therapy into their skincare routine.
Do not use LucéLuxe Glacé if you:
* Are pregnant or breastfeeding
* Have photosensitivity or a known sensitivity/allergy to light
* Have a medical condition that makes you sensitive to light
* Are taking photosensitizing medications, unless your healthcare professional confirms it is suitable for you
Is LED light science-backed device?
Yes. LED light therapy / photobiomodulation is science-backed and has been studied in randomized clinical trials and systematic reviews. Research supports biological and cosmetic/dermatologic effects of specific wavelengths, particularly red and blue light, although results depend on wavelength, dose, irradiance, treatment schedule, and the particular device.
